Rest By The River
Shooting Stars

We are a river family, and the river does run through us...

This photo was taken early this Spring on the Lochsa River. These beautiful purple flowers lie under the mounds of mountain snow, then the floodwaters of Spring. They start to bloom as the river recedes from the shore. Some like this grouping, are on top of rocks with small amounts of dirt and moss and a frog or two.

I get up early to capture the morning light on the river. These Shooting Stars seem delicate but they are so strong which reminds me of one of my all-time favorite words from God...

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of Power, and of Love and a Sound Mind

2 Timothy 1:6-7

When I am at the river I am so reminded of the Power and Love of God and what He has given to me

and when I grab these words for myself I do gain a sound mind.

What a great blessing this is for all of us!

Holding A Memory In Your Hand,

Hanging it on your wall,
Keeping the photo on the frig,
A photo book,
Pinning that photo on the bulletin board,


It does not matter where you put the photo as long as it is an actual print you can touch and a digital file saved
That is how you keep the memories alive!


These are my dear friends for a lifetime, and we gather and take photos constantly when we are together.

These memories are cherished by all.

We just lost a loved friend from this group.

We are heartbroken beyond words!!

I am so blessed we all have the photo memories of our friendship and fun to help carry us through this loss.
